printing for topshop unique was so much fun this season. delicate sheer pieces sprayed, printed and foiled. made to layer the skin and float around beautifully. this was a real girly project and i have to say i've been won round: my favorite piece... the foiled bikini.

so exciting to be part of the louise gray show for s/s 2011, and of course proud of the amazing prints. my favorites are the tasseled harnesses and bleached out three colour repeats. here are the show pieces all hand printed by us in london:

70's sanderson

following my post on the sanderson exhibition i did a little exploring through my magazine collection and found these great photos used by sanderson during the 70's to advertise their designs. i particularly like the poppy design in the middle with great bold colours and scale.

francis alÿs

the other week i visited the francis alÿs exhibition at the tate modern. a show spanning painting, film, installation, animation, sculpture and drawing the bredth alone is inspirational. i particularly love his dreamy mark making style, the results witty and melancholic:
